It’s that time of year again—the Great Falls version of March Madness is here, and the GF Hoops 2025 House Tournament kicks off THIS WEEKEND! Get ready for high-energy action, intense competition, and all the excitement that comes with the biggest basketball event of the season!

This year’s tournament will be double elimination, meaning every team gets a second chance to battle their way to the top! The Championship and All-Star Games will be played on March 8th/9th, and we can’t wait to see who will come out on top!  Our Boys High School Tournament wraps up THIS WEEKEND with the Championship Games and a special Senior Night celebration on Sunday, February 23rd. We’ll be honoring our beloved seniors with a send-off like no other—come show your support and make it an unforgettable night for these players!

Reminder: While the excitement will undoubtedly rise, let’s all remember to keep ourselves in check. It’s easy to get caught up in the intensity, but we’re all here to support these athletes and their hard work. Let’s focus on cheering for the positives—the incredible plays, the amazing hustle, and the team spirit on full display.

And just a heads-up: Our referees will be armed and ready to administer team technical fouls for any unruly or unsportsmanlike behavior—from players, coaches, and even the occasional overly passionate spectator. So let’s keep it fun and friendly… or risk seeing the dreaded “T” come your way! 

For those wondering how teams are seeded, here’s the breakdown:
If there’s a tie between teams, we first look at head-to-head results. If that doesn’t resolve the tie, we’ll then examine the results against the next highest-ranked teams until a clear tiebreaker emerges. If all else fails, a coin toss may be employed to settle the matter.
