Dear Coaches, Parents, and Community Members,

As the Great Falls Select Basketball program continues to grow and become more competitive, we are seeking qualified coaches to lead our boys and girls teams during both the offseason and the 2025–26 Fairfax County Youth Basketball League (FCYBL) winter season. We are committed to an open and transparent selection process, where all interested applicants will be considered—even if that means replacing an incumbent coach. Coaching experience at a competitive level is strongly valued, but you do not need to be a parent of a current Select player to apply.  We field boys and girls teams from 4th grade (developmental level) through 8th grade.

What to Expect:

• The selection process begins with candidates expressing interest.
• Coaches will be selected and confirmed in June.
• Selected coaches will work with prospective players during the offseason to prepare for winter league play.  This could include practices and participation in summer league games.
