Welcome to the 2025–2026 Great Falls Basketball Season!  

The wait is finally over, and the moment we’ve all been counting down to is here! The gyms are opening, the balls are bouncing, and we are beyond thrilled to welcome our players, coaches, and families back for what is shaping up to be an unforgettable year of Great Falls Basketball. This is not just any season. This is our 50th anniversary season!  A celebration of five decades of competition, community, friendships, and countless memories shared on the court!                                                                             

And what a year to celebrate. We have officially shattered records with a surge in registration, including the largest Kindergarten, 1st grade, 3rd grade, 4th grade, and 8th grade leagues we have ever hosted. Add in 22 high school teams — with registration still open for high school players until Wednesday — and it is clear: GF Hoops has never been bigger, stronger, or more vibrant!

We’re thrilled to unveil our brand-new logo, created by longtime GF Hoops coach Borzou Daftari at Nickel Bronx, showcasing our name and iconic waterfalls woven right into the basketball. And to power up our 50th season, we’re launching a special commemorative anniversary logo that will be featured all year long—celebrating this milestone and the incredible community behind GF Hoops.

And that is not all. For the first time in league history, every team will kick off the year with a preseason game that does not count toward the standings. It is the perfect opportunity for players to shake off the rust, find their rhythm, and build early chemistry before the season officially begins.

With weekday gym space tighter than ever due to school renovations — and with our league larger than it has ever been — we are thrilled to add extra weekend practice space. This means more touches on the ball, more time to build teamwork, and more chances to grow and refine skills. More gym time equals more development, and we are excited to give our players every opportunity to improve.

We are also launching our first ever GF Hoops merchandise store. Holiday gifts, stocking stuffers, and brand new GF Hoops apparel can now be delivered straight to your home in time for the holidays. As we tip off the season, a few important reminders to keep the experience positive and fun for everyone:
• Have fun. This is about enjoying the game, learning new skills, and making new friends.
• Show great sportsmanship. Cheer for all players and let positivity lead the way.
• Support our youth referees. They work hard to keep the game fair and fun. Your encouragement makes a difference.
• Respect our gyms. This is where the magic happens so let’s keep the courts clean and in great shape for every team that follows.

Finally, an enormous thank you to our volunteer coaches. Your time, leadership, and passion are the heartbeat of this program. We hope you enjoy the season and the incredible community that surrounds it.

With record numbers, our largest leagues ever, a milestone anniversary, new logos, expanded practice opportunities, an inaugural preseason game, and our first ever merch store, this season is already one for the history books. Thank you for being part of this extraordinary community!
