Once again we are using the TOURNEY MACHINE app for our House League playoff scheduling- Grades 3 -12.  Please note that this app is now Sports Engine Tourney.  If you have downloaded the app in the past, be sure that you have updated your app and the new app logo should appear which is a white background, lowercase "se" in black with the word "tourney" in a red box below the "se"

Please download the free Sports Engine Tourney App so that you will be able to see brackets with the times and locations of all games throughout the playoffs.

Once in the app search for our Tournament Name

GFHOOPS 2024 HOUSE TOURNAMENT

Brackets show the Seed and the Team Name (ex.  #1 Smith means the #1 Seed is Coach Smith's team). Note, teams are seeded based on winning percentage, regardless of number of games played. If two teams have the same winning percentage the GFHoops tie breakers will be applied
1. Head to Head record
2. Record against highest ranked team, continuing down to lowest ranked team until the tie is broken
3. Coin flip
NOTE-regular season points for and points against are never by GFHoops for seeding tie breakers.  The standings on the website do NOT apply appropriate GFHoops tie breakers so if you end the season tied with another team in winning percentage, please know that the above tie breakers have been applied and the seedings are correct in the Sports Engine Tourney app,  do NOT assume the website standings are accurate for tournament seeding

Once you have found our tournament, you can add your children's teams to "My Teams"-you can have up to 5 "My Teams"

In addition, at the bottom of the app home page, you will see a button for "Division" (ex. Boys 3rd Grade).  This will allow you to see the Schedule, Standings and full tournament Bracket (with times/locations) for the entire Division.  All tournaments are Double Elimination format.

Once you have chosen your Division, choose "Bracket" to see not only your 1st game but also the possible paths to the championship for your team and the dates and times of those games.

Please pay particular attention to the location as you will likely play at multiple gyms throughout your playoff journey and often even multiple gyms in the same day.
