Help GFHoops give back!  New socks for any gender and any age, toddler through adult.

We are looking forward Championship and All Star weekend!  Please help us celebrate another great season by participating in a special Sock Charity Drive in memory of Lilly Kishore who died from a sudden cardiac event in June 2021.  Lily was a valued member of our GF Hoops community for over 12 years who served not only as a much decorated athlete but also as a volunteer youth coach and referee.  Lilly’s family are also longtime volunteers.  Her mother Malia was a board member for over 10 years, her father Rohit was a coach and her brother Ben, a former player, referee and youth grade coach, is again at the helm of one of our 5th Grade Boys teams this year.  Lilly's personal motto was “Bee Positive” and her extensive volunteerism was one of the hallmarks of her life.  This year six special GFHoops participants have been selected as the recipients of the "Live Like Lilly Award" which recognizes those who participate for the love of the game and are supportive and positive role models anytime they are on the court.  

GF Hoops is proud to support one of Lilly’s favorite non-profit organizations, It’s From The Sole, https://www.itsfromthesole.org/, that provides socks and shoes to the homeless across the country which is the most requested items by shelters especially during the cold winter months. We will have bins available to collect your donations of new socks. The current need is for athletic socks for men, women, boys and girls of all sizes and styles including ankle, crew, knee high, etc.  Let’s Live Like Lilly and support those in need.
