Great Falls Basketball (GF Hoops) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit youth basketball organization dedicated to building community, character, and confidence through the game of basketball. Since our founding, we have served thousands of players across the Great Falls, Virginia area, providing structured programs that emphasize skill development, sportsmanship, teamwork, and fun.

Each season, GF Hoops supports over 1,000 players from kindergarten through 12th grade across a variety of offerings—from our foundational House League and competitive Select League teams, to seasonal clinics, skills training, camps, and community events like our popular Hoops Challenge, All-Star Games, and 4th of July Parade float.

• Player-Centered Focus: Whether a beginner or aspiring varsity player, every athlete receives meaningful playing time, quality coaching, and the opportunity to grow at their own pace.

• Experienced Coaches & Trainers: Our staff includes high school coaches, former college athletes, certified trainers, and dedicated youth mentors.

• Leadership Through Basketball: We actively promote youth leadership through our youth coaching, referee, and statistician programs—helping players give back to the sport while gaining real-world skills.

• Community-Driven: As a nonprofit, we reinvest all program fees into the community—supporting gym rentals, equipment, scholarships, coach training, and special initiatives like school court improvements and player recognition awards.
